The baking profession in one form or another has been central to human socialisation. A millstone and wheat has been found that dates back 7,500 years; the British Museum in London has displays of actual loaves made in Egypt over 5,000 years ago. Bread has been a central part of our diet since the dawn of civilisation and for most, it still is.

At L’usine, we are very aware of the responsibility that goes with that honour.

Today’s society has the science and technology that enables it to produce the most nourishing bread in history. L’usine uses the best technology available to ensure that our bread meets high nutritional standards.
Bread forms an important part of our daily diet. It contains essential vitamins, minerals, trace elements together with sugars and dietary fiber and a healthy array of complex carbohydrates. Substituting fatty meats for healthy bread imitates the dietary habits of societies.
White or brown bread is low fat and generally high in fiber and is a useful contribution to the 20 to 30 grams of fiber the US National Cancer Institute recommends we consume each day.
L’usine’s baked products use a wide range of ingredients, all of which contribute energy and nourishment to the development of our bodies and minds. – Wholesome Wheat, Butter or Margarine, Sugar, Egg and Milk.
Quality in production and quality of ingredients in L’usine baked products both contribute to the enjoyment and nourishment of our consumers.
